Royal Mail /Jersey Post ‘Joint Flag Issue’

At Spring Stampex Jersey Post will join the Post and Go club and will taken ownership of their own ‘Series B’ machine- number J001 – that will vend a unique Jersey Flag  stamp with six relevant NVI values  on one reel alongside a GB Union nolvadex online flag stamp on the other – a truly unique, modern and innovative way of producing a joint stamp issue.

The print string will be (For items purchased at Stampex)

For the back office/preorders a different string will be used.

B2GB14 B001-0000-001 etc.

Royal Mail ‘Next Generation’  ‘Series A Machines

The existing three Royal Mail Post and Go machines will be retired and semi-permanent sites found for them (promising overprinted versions! ). Before this, the last roadshow for these machines will be at York Stamp and Coin Fair  on 17th/18th January 2014 where machines A3 and A4 will appear for the last time in a mobile environment.


Post and Goes East- Philakorea 2014

During Autumn Stampex Royal Mail announced their intention to take the ‘Post and Go Roadshow’ to another international stamp exhibition ‘ PhilaKorea ‘ in 2014.

The international show, sponsored by Korea Post takes place August 7th- August 12th 2014. (6 Days) in the ‘COEX Hall’, order nolvadex online Seoul.

A similar set-up to that used in Australia in 2013 is expected, along with a suitable overprint (including  ‘KR’ origin code) . Mirroring the 2013 Australian Stamp Expo , It is expected that ‘GB’ versions of the Post and Go stamps will be available from the Philatelic Bureau.



Post and Go Services at Autumn Stampex 2013

Autumn Stampex 2013 has just closed its doors, taking place between the dates of 18th-21st September at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London N1.


Royal Mail provided the now familiar configuration of Post and Go ”Royal Mail Series One’ machines Nos. A2, A3,A4  along with a “Instant Smiler ” printer.

They all have been busy over the last three days providing the standard fare of an overprinted Post and Go commemorative plus from Friday  the latest in the ‘Freshwater Life’ series (Rivers) along with On-Demand ‘Post and Go Instant Smilers’ as below:-

Various improvements have been made since previous events and it was noticed that the  machines benefited from a new-improved faster internet connection allowing for faster throughput of customers resulting in reduced queues compared to previous Stampex events..

Latest Post and Go Network Updates

At Birmingham ten machines have been reduced to nine Machine no.1 has been removed and machine no.9 moved into its place.


At Cambridge as part of the program to upgrade branches by adding more Post & Go kiosks a third kiosk has been buy nolvadex online usa added .

This kiosk has incorrectly been configured with the ‘old’ Branch Code of 007113 and the old postal address of 9-11 St.Andrew Street.

The next branch to have additional kiosks is Old Street when two will be added in next few weeks.

Post & Go – at the London 2010 Festival of Stamps

Logo London 2010 Post and Go at London 2010 International Stamp Exhibition.

The 8-day London 2010 International Stamp Exhibition featured the finest competitive exhibits from collectors around the world, plus stamp dealers, auctioneers and postal administrations, including a major presence from Royal Mail and the Post Office. This show takes place in London just once every ten years, and the 2010 show was a great success.

7th May 2010-Friday

The Post and Go Kiosk was commissioned by Wincor engineers and went in operation early afternoon and was accessible to dealers and volunteers.

First label printed was numbered 0025 – the postage labels it produced used a trial roll which is on a shiny paper the label is rectangular with rounded corners.

The inscription “ROYAL MAIL” which runs top to bottom on the left of the label is set 4 mm away (Shown on Right) and is in different format compared to the currently used on machines in UK (Shown on Left).

The receipt consists of WINCOR NIXDORF logo and company address of Wokingham where this prototype machine is based.

The office ID number of 002010 (which denotes London 2010 Festival of Stamps exhibition) and machine number of “0” was printed on the label.

8th May 2010 – Saturday

Machine went live to public as from 10am still producing labels from trial roll and receipt as per 004 till midday when the machine developed a problem. This was resolved by a member of Post Office staff. The machine was reset and printed receipt now had Post Office logo with Wincor Nixdorf address of Wokingham.

Around 2.30pm the trial roll ran out and a new roll was installed. This had standard rectangle labels with serrated top and bottom

11th May 2010 – Tuesday

Between 10.30 – 11.15 a member of Post Office staff decided to change the address of Wincor Nixdorf, Wokingham to read Festival of Stamps, Islington on the system.

The last label printed with Wincor address was at 10:23am and the first one with Festival of Stamps was 11.15am.
